I've been wanting to take the family out to get pictures for oh...four or five MONTHS! It was supposed to be with blooming flowers and green trees in the background, then it was going to be with orange and red leaves, and finally it ended up being in my neighbors back yard with a few spindley pines and a treehouse in the background.
Actually, they turned out pretty good! The kids were very cooperative and Henry had a lovely time grinning so much his eyeballs never showed once!
After the 40 or so pictures and poses I made everyone take, we ended up going with the one below...it happened to be the very first picture we took with our own digital camera as a test shot! On all the others we used our neighbor's fancy-shmancy zoomy camera!
