I have to admit, the older my kids get, the less harried I am on Pumpkin Carving night. When they are little, we get all excited and think, "Oh what fun, my little one year old is going to carve his first pumpkin!!!" Then they start screaming because you make them stick their hand in goo and you won't let them touch the knives and they have no idea what is going on and THEY WON'T EVEN REMEMBER IT!!! So, like I said, now that they are older, it's a lot easier, because they acutally want to carve the pumpkins, and they can actually do it (or mostly do it) themselves, and they like to put their hands in the goo and throw it at each other and pretend like they are boogers and all sorts of other gross boy stuff!!! We actually had a lot of fun tonight!
Ethan, Bennett, Clara and Henry...they smile as big as the pumpkins!!!

Your kids have some skills! Love the sneaky waldo pic too.
hi-ya amigo! We are carving pumkins in Idaho tonight. Probably with the same steak knives used 20 years ago when we were kids (ah, memories...) I know we will be in town for Thanksgiving, but are not sure of plans for Christmas, yet. We will definately trick-or-treat at your mom and pop's!
Your kids are so dang cute! Those are some pretty darn good pumpkins...I'm highly impressed! Good job kids! Remind me to show you the pumpkin I carved next time we're at work together...too embarrassed to put it on my blog, although Ty might force me to! Ha ha, bet you can't guess what's on it! *WINK*
