A few weeks ago, Evan took the three oldest kids on an overnight canoe/camping trip with his longtime friend Gary Hill and his girls. Apparently they had a blast!
Camp was set up in a nice secluded spot... even though they were there in late August, it was a little chilly...frost on the ground when they woke up!
We debated letting Clara go off into the cold wilderness, but she ended up being the best camper ever and keeps asking when they get to go again!
They drove up into the Uintas, parked the van and loaded up the canoe for a 30 minute canoe trip to their campsite. Evan said he got a pretty good workout!
They camped, hiked, canoed and had a great time! As for me and Henry? Cafe Rio and a chick flick....oh yes...and a nice WARM bed!

What no camping for mom? Looks like fun! Thanks for the update, and Clara I can believe is a great camper....
