Summer's GONE???

School starts tomorrow? How the heck did that happen! I had all these grand plans for summer and now it's gone... I guess we did have a litte bit of fun here and there :) Here are the last great summer memories before the spelling tests start!
In July was the annual Hill-Thomas canoe trip...this time they upped the ante and took 7 kids! Yipes! 7 kids and 2 dads? We moms stayed home with our Cafe Rio Salads and chick flicks while the men did their fatherly duty and had a blast. This is a trip my kids looked forward to for weeks! (Okay, so did I!) Thanks Evan and Gary!
We tried a new venue this year for our neighborhood campout and we are now hooked on Heber Valley Campground. Awesome Yurts to sleep in, great facility! A fun lake, campfire skits, it was the bomb! The kids found a few friendly potguts (or pockets as they called them) and set up a trap with a donut box and some donuts... they actually caught a few in that contraption! I guess potguts get thier potguts from donuts!

Ahhh...the fountains at the Gateway! Free and fabulous! All of our kids get along so well and we have so much fun together. It's been a great summer! Now I have to go to bed so I can get up and make lunches... groaney groan groan!!!
